The European Center for Peace and Development University for Peace est. by the United Nations and the European University for Peace, Justice, and Inclusive Societies, EUPeace have officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding, marking a significant step toward fostering cooperation in the fields of education, research, and development. This partnership underscores the shared commitment of both organisations to promote peace, development, and innovation through collaborative efforts.
EUPeace is dedicated to strengthening the enabling conditions for peace: understanding them better through research, nurturing them actively through education, and fostering them broadly through societal outreach and innovative practices. ECPD has a long-standing history of promoting peace, reconciliation, socio-economic development, and international cooperation through capacity building that is achieved by organising and offering postgraduate studies, applied research, consulting, and dissemination of knowledge.
