76th Session of the ECPD International Council

March 12th, 2024, Madrid

The European Center for Peace and Development of the University for Peace est. by the United Nations (ECPD) held a very successful 76th Session of the ECPD International Council on March 12th, 2024, in Madrid, presided over by H.E. Prof. Dr. Federico Mayor, long-standing UNESCO Director General.

On that occasion, the Report on ECPD’s Activities in the period 2009-2023 was highly praised and unanimously adopted, as well as the ECPD Programme of Activities for 2023-2024. 

At the same Session, the composition of the ECPD Executive Board and ECPD Educational and Scientific Board was somewhat innovated.
