MasterS IN INTEGRATIVE HOLISTIC HEALTH APPROACH
Medicine has since its early days supported holistic approach to a human being, recognizing disease as harmony impairment (homeostasis), between the body, mind and spirit. Since Hypocrite medicine has sought causes of health problems in person’s thoughts and emotions, views and beliefs, conditions of his spirit and soul. It has also promoted implementing natural forms of treatment where doctor would be only an intermediary between nature and man.
Today’s medicine recognises, after long period of materialistic reductionism, the need for returning to its original role of achieving unity between material, energy and spiritual aspects of human beings that are so important for improving their health and quality of life.
Modern science, with new knowledge in Quantum Medicine, Bio-Information Technology and nature of psychosomatic disorders tries to integrate knowledge from these fields. Holistic approach to health as philosophy, science and art of healing, but also lifestyle has again become highly topical over the past decades. All forms of traditional and complementary medicine (Chinese medicine with acupuncture, homeopathy, chiropractic, quantum medicine, etc.) rely on holistic approach to health and may not be successfully applied without understanding the holistic concept.
